We were pleased to appear in The Barber Magazine’s industry news last month as their charity focus of July.
The piece discussed how Liam Hamilton started the initiative to help ex-service personnel reinvent themselves and begin new careers in the barbering industry.
Liam himself used to be a serviceman in the Coldstream Guards and had to be medically discharged. Having had previous experience in the barbering industry before joining the forces, he was able to use that experience to get back into the hairdressing industry and build a business for himself once he had left.
Liam now empowers former service personnel to do the same as he did, and supports ex-servicemen in developing careers in barbering.
Our collaboration with Armour to Barber raises money for the charity. One hundred special edition camouflage capes were created with £10 donation going to the charity with each purchase and in total, the collaboration raised more than £1,000.
